Hello everyone I, Alderman Kenneth Farbe would first like to start off by saying thanks to everyone that allowed me to serve them for the last four years as your Alderman. I have enjoyed working with and for the people and intend on doing so in the future. Many have asked me to run for Mayor of the Village of Moreauville and I, have made a commitment and said yes. I will be coming visit with everyone in the near future, the Moreauville election is not until October 2, 2010 so we still have a little time before putting up signs so please be patient. If anyone should have any questions please feel free to contact me at (318) 481-0280. Also I would like to thank APO for making this forum possible. I should also end with this last note most people only know me by my nick name Animal so if you never knew my real name you do now. Thanks to everyone.

Sorry tipitno for it taking me so long to get back with you my computer was down. Okay, to answer your question there are always changes that need to take place in "City Government." First and foremost with the way the economy is today I, would like to have a grant writer come into town and assist us with getting more grants. There are numerous things that I, would like to do. That is just one of my most important on the list. Just to give one more I, would also like to get a program set up like Simmesport has for the elderly citizens. It works very well in Simmesport it is called the Cares program and this really helps people make it through hard times. If you or anyone would like to speak with me in person please feel free to contact me at (318) 481-0280. Or come by my residence at 314 Dufour St Moreauville, La. 71355 Also keep in mind its not always about what the elected officals think. We are the voice of the people, so please give your ideas as well.

The qualifying dates are July 14, 2010 - July 16, 2010

Early voting starts September 18, 2010 - September 25, 2010 "AT THE MARKSVILLE COURTHOUSE"

Election day October 2, 2010 "AT THE MOREAUVILLE FIRE STATION FROM 6AM - 8PM"

Thanks, for the response! As Alderman, who is responible for taking of the grants? Do you think a change is needed in the police department?

Hello tipitno I, will first start off by talking about the grants. At the present time the Mayor, and City Coucil, as well as the chief of police have worked on some grants. My view towards how I, would like to see grants taken care of if I, were the Mayor I, would like to have a grant writter. As for as the police department I, think we have the best in Avoyelles Parish. I, hope this will answer everything for you but if it doesn't let me know.
